Serving Somers Town since 2017

The Living Centre overcame initial resistance when it opened in 2017, due to its connection to the Francis Crick Institute, by actively working with the Institute and Living Centre Partners to provide a place at the heart of the community, open to all who need help, support, advice or guidance.

As part of their commitment to Somers Town, the Francis Crick Institute provided a high-quality venue, funding and long-term security for the development of this new community asset.

During the Living Centre's first five years, more than 35 different health, wellbeing and advice services were delivered, with partners working annually to deliver a wider programme involving more than 100 organisations, groups, bodies and associations.
